Ambassador Melissa Seaforth continues to redefine excellence in professional bodybuilding, carrying Antigua and Barbuda’s flag onto some of the most competitive stages in the world.
Competing in IFBB Pro Bikini Fitness, she has built a career defined by discipline, refinement, and sustained evolution. Each season reflects careful preparation, strategic development, and a relentless commitment to mastering her craft.
The past year marked a defining chapter.
Melissa captured the Masters Bikini title at the IFBB Pro Masters World Championships in Malta, becoming the first professional from Antigua and Barbuda to compete at a Masters World Championship. It was a breakthrough moment not only for her career, but for the sport nationally.

Just one week later, she returned to the World Championship stage in Spain for her sixth consecutive appearance, placing fourth in the world in Bikini Fitness. Maintaining that level of international competitiveness year after year underscores both her longevity and her elite status.
Her journey has not been without challenges. Last year presented an even more personal test. Recovering from a back injury forced her to adapt, and for the first time in eight years, she decided to coach and train herself. The transition required technical recalibration and mental fortitude, but it ultimately strengthened her independence and confidence in her own expertise.
If she were to describe the year in one word, it would be Resilient.
Reflecting on this nomination, Melissa recalls her first nomination in 2020, but the awards ceremony was cancelled due to limited sporting activity during the pandemic. Rather than allowing disappointment to interrupt her momentum, Melissa remained focused and continued building her international résumé over the years.
Being nominated as Female Athlete of the Year by her Federation carries deep significance. For Melissa, it reflects years of steady growth, refinement, and consistent international representation. Every season has been approached with intention, elevating her physique, stage presence, and competitive precision.
Winning the National Sportswoman of the Year would represent something even greater. It would affirm that her impact extends beyond bodybuilding and reinforce that athletes from Antigua and Barbuda can compete with and excel among the best in the world.
On the global stage, Ambassador Melissa sculpts more than a physique. She shapes perception, proving that excellence has no geographical limits.
